When I was sixteen years old, I probably should have died. I had a collapsed lung, one hundred percent collapsed, heart pushed over, but yet breathing with ninety-nine percent oxygen levels. Never had I seen so many nurses and doctors move so fast and calmly. I didn’t die, and I also didn't die when it happened a second time a month later while out riding fence with my Dad.

There are many ways God has worked in my life, in my family’s life, but one thing that remains is His mercy and blessings. His hand was over my life while having a collapsed lung, and His hand over my life while giving birth to my children. He always provides what is needed when it is needed. Comfort, food, finances, unanswered prayers.

All have comes from him.

During my IVF journey, I felt God’s presence more than ever. From the first appointment to the moments of doubt and uncertainty, His peace carried me through each step.

When I faced setbacks, I leaned on my faith, trusting that God had a plan even when the process felt overwhelming.

In the waiting, He reminded me of His promises and surrounded me with support, love, and strength from my family and friends. Every prayer felt heard, and I believe God’s hand was at work, guiding the doctors and giving me hope when I needed it most. The outcome, no matter the result, was a testament to His timing and faithfulness in my life.

My entire life I have always believed in God, but it was through my journey of seeking Him that I truly found His presence in my life.

My grandmother, a woman of unwavering faith, was my greatest influence, and her example led me to seek a deeper relationship with God. It was during my time at a Christian university that I began to immerse myself in the Word, asking questions and discovering who God truly is. In my early twenties, Bible studies transformed my faith, helping me grow in confidence as a Christian and surrounding me with wise counsel.

Time and time again, I have experienced moments where God was at work, doing only what He can do. He is my comfort, my friend, and my guide. I am eternally grateful for the privilege to know Him and to share the life-changing power of His love with others. Each day is an opportunity to live more like Christ, and for that, I am forever thankful.
